SNP design and install electronic security systems such as alarms, access control and CCTV.
What was the issue/s at the workplace?
The need to constantly remind staff of the minimum standard of PPE and the need to ensure that all staff had PPE consumables at hand at all times.
What did you do to control it/resolve it?
We have erected a mannequin at the entry to the warehouse dressed in the minimum standard of PPE required for the tasks we perform. Along side this is dispenser of the all the consumable PPE such as, glasses, ear plugs, sunscreen...
What was the outcome? How is the workplace better now?
People have a constant reminder several times per day that they are to have the minimum PPE at all times and the items required to achieve this are available to them at all times.
