Tell us their story!
Nominating a person, group or initiative is easy! All you need to do is tell us the nominee’s achievements by following the prompt questions – tell us what the person/business/group did, why they did it, and how it had a positive impact on their workplace.
Once your nomination is complete it will be sent to the nominee via email, to verify that they give their consent for it to be published.
The ownership of the entry will then be ‘transferred’ to the nominee, so we will contact them directly about their entry. As the nominator, you will also be kept in the loop as to the progress of the entry via email.
We know that you may not have all the information you need to completely fill out the nomination – please do the best that you can and the nominee will then have the ability to fill in anything else they feel may be relevant to the entry.
Before you nominate someone for a WorkSafe Award, we recommend you prepare:
- A few images that best represent the nomination, showing either examples of the changes it has made in the workplace or the things people have done to make improvements. (These should be of a useable web format, e.g. JPG, PNG or GIF). Images embedded in Word or PDF documents will not be uploaded.
- Any video supporting footage. Please add in a link to your YouTube or Vimeo video in the notes section of the nomination form.
- Your nomination! Think about what the nominee did to improve workplace health, safety, or return to work. How did they do it? What problems did it solve?
