The harness is designed to distribute evenly the weight of the material through your shoulders and hips similar to a backpack. This would clearly be beneficial for continual and repetitious carrying of sheet material, as well as for rehabilitation purposes when returning to work. The goal of the program is to learn from other businesses and industries and see how they manage their safety programs, initiatives, activities etc they have in place. The Safety Exchange involves presentations, plant tour and a safety activity. The OHS Reps are heavily involved in delivering the presentation.
